Hydration for your hair is just as important as it is for your body.  To hydrate your hair with products like conditioners, make sure you find the one that is taylored to your specific hair type, damage and texture.  You are not necessarily looking for a slick feeling from a conditioner that penetrates  the hairshaft.  This may be what you are used to but in reality the ingredient llist is much more valuable for hydration.  Ingredients like Panthanol=ProVitamin B5 usually. Vitamins with anti-oxidents are very good as well.  Finally a good protein ingredient in the list should find you in good shape using it for 3-6 minutes once or twice a week. Religously.

Moisture is always an issue in looking and feeling good. Especially with your hair, skin and body.
Drink 8 glasses of water throughout the day everyday.
Just spread out the intake during the day.


 

      The point with hydration is to getting used to regularly drinking water.  If you could think of yourself like a plant and  imagine your body as the greenhouse. It is like that of a tropical environment that needs water to survive. Get the picture? I am not saying anything you have not heard.  I wonder why then do we forget to drink our water?  Myself included.  I believe that our culture is bombarded with sugar drinks, which actua;;y do very little if not at all towards hydration.  Drinking a large glass of water thoughout the day several times, is a good place to start. If you did that every day, in no time at all it would become a habit.  Do not drink your 8 glasses a day in the morning only, this water is used up and out of your sytem by noon.  My favorite is plain tap water.  And it doesn't cost anything.  Have a great Summer.  Stay hydrated.
